Marcos Pinheiro Pizzelli ( Armenian Մարկոս ​​Պինեյրո Պիցցելլի ; born October 3, 1984 in Piracicaba , Brazil ) is a former Armenian football player .

Career

society

Marcos Pizzelli came from the Brazilian amateur club São Carlos FC and began his professional career in 2006 with Ararat Yerevan . In 2008 he was briefly under contract with fifth division ASA Issy in France . From 2009 to 2011, the native Brazilian played for city rivals Pyunik Yerevan . In 2011 the midfielder moved to the Ukraine for Metalurg Donetsk . His next stops were the Russian first division clubs FK Kuban Krasnodar and FK Krasnodar . In January 2014 he was signed by the Kazakh first division club FK Aqtöbe, first on loan and later on a permanent basis. Further positions followed at Al-Raed , Al-Fujairah SC , Skoda Xanthi , al-Shabab and again at FK Aqtöbe. At the beginning of 2020 he moved to FC Ararat-Armenia and ended his active career there in February without a further assignment.

National team

In May 2008 Marcos Pizzelli received the Armenian citizenship . On May 28, 2008 he was used for the first time in the Armenian national team . By 2019 he had played a total of 67 games and scored eleven goals.
