Haselbach is a district of the municipality of Rhönblick in the Rhön in the district of Schmalkalden-Meiningen in Thuringia .

The village is located west of Sülzfeld an der Hasel , which flows into the Sülze immediately south of the town from the left .
history
It belonged to the old property of the county Henneberg and belonged originally to court centering Mellrichstadt . When the Counts of Henneberg - Schleusingen died out in 1583, it was in aristocratic hands, including the jurisdiction of lower jurisdiction, but belonged to the Maßfeld office after the sovereignty . With this he came to the Duchy of Saxony-Meiningen in 1680 .
On July 1, 1950, the previously independent community of Gleimershausen was incorporated.
On April 1, 1974, Haselbach was incorporated into the Hermannsfeld community. The place was incorporated into the municipality of Rhönblick together with Hermannsfeld by ordinance of the Interior Minister of Thuringia on August 1, 1996 .
