Hasetal art route
The Hasetal Art Route is an approx. 100 km long sculpture path, opened between August 19 and 21, 2005 , which runs on the Hase-Ems Tour from Bersenbrück parallel to the Hase to Meppen . The sculpture trail emerged from the Leader + project "Art on the River" of the European Union . At least one work of art is displayed in all seven cities and towns along the way, namely:
- Bersenbrück: "Throne of the King and Queen of the Carp" ( sandstone sculpture ) by Mandir Tix ( Kattenvenne ),
- Quakenbrück : "Wings grow over the delta" ( bronze sculpture ) by Carola Wedell ( Haselünne ),
- Essen / Oldenburg : "in the river" (sandstone sculpture ) by Regine Meyer zu Strohe ( Bramsche ),
- Löningen : "Fish" and "Barrages" (installations) by Reinhart Dasenbrock ( Osnabrück ),
- Herzlake : "Hasesegel" by Christian Lammers (Herzlake),
- Haselünne: "Cyclists" (iron sculpture) by Joe Siewe (Bersenbrück) and
- Meppen: "Encounter" (sandstone sculpture) by Jutta Klose ( Nordhorn ).
The Hasetal Art Route can easily be confused with the Artlander Art Tour . This 40 km long circuit takes cyclists from Quakenbrück to Menslage and back again. At its edge are paintings that depict the landscape passed through.
