Hassan Abshir Farah

Hassan Abshir Farah ( Somali : Xasan Abshir Faarax ) (born June 20, 1945 - † July 12, 2020 in Ankara ) was a politician in Somalia .

From November 12, 2001 to December 8, 2003 he was Prime Minister of Somalia's interim government under President Abdikassim Salat Hassan . Hassan Abshir Farah criticized this when the president's mandate expired in August 2003, but the latter dragged out negotiations on his successor. Abdikassim Salat Hassan then replaced him with Mohammed Abdi Yusuf .
