Hasselblad Foundation Award
The Hasselblad Foundation International Award in Photography is a prize given to photographers in recognition of significant achievements. The award, endowed with 1,000,000 Swedish crowns (approx. 100,000 €), has been awarded since 1980 by the Swedish foundation of the same name, which was founded by Erna and Victor Hasselblad , Victor Hasselblad was the inventor of the Hasselblad Camera System. The award is considered to be the most important award in photography worldwide.
