history

The company was founded in 1946 by Hans Stutz as a sole proprietorship with a truck in Uitikon . In 1951 he took over the Hörnlimann & Sohn company with four trucks . In 1957, Stutz created its own gravel processing facility in Birmensdorf. The good course of business enabled him to take over Kies AG Zurich in 1969 . This formed the basis for the resulting Stutz Group. As a result, Stutz founded FBB Frischbeton + Belag AG Birmensdorf and gradually expanded his group. With the takeover of Grundag AG , one of the leading providers of geothermal probes, Stutz entered the geothermal area in 2001 .

In 2002 the Stutz Group was reorganized and all subsidiaries belonging to the group were integrated into a holding structure under the common name Hastag .
