Hastberg is a hamlet in the Herbringhausen residential area in Wuppertal in the Langerfeld-Beyenburg district .

geography

The hamlet is 289  m above sea level. NHN , surrounded by hilly agricultural areas east of the Marscheider Bach . To the west lies the hamlet of Großsporkert , north of the hamlet of Wefelpütt , east of the hamlet of Windgassen and south of the Remscheid Hofschaft Luckhausen . The Hastberger mill is in the neighborhood.

history

Hastberg is notarized as part of the Garschagen Honschaft and belonged to the Beyenburg office . In 1715 the hamlet is referred to as Hastberg on the Topographia Ducatus Montani . Goods of the living space did not belong to the honor, but to the foreign citizenship of Lennep .

In 1815/16 the place had 27 inhabitants. In 1832 the place belonged to the external citizenship Lennep of the Lennep mayor . The place, which was categorized as a grinding shop according to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , had four residential buildings and eight agricultural buildings at that time. At that time, 33 residents lived in the village, one Catholic and 32 Protestant. In 1888, three houses with 23 inhabitants are listed in the community dictionary of the Rhine Province .
