The house at Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 16 is in the old town of Weißenburg in Bavaria in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen .

It is located directly adjacent to the Old Post Office , the District Office Weissenburg-Gunzenhausen and the former Augustinian monastery and is under the monument number D-5-77-177-156 as a monument to the Bavarian monument list entered.

The building was built as a bank according to plans by Ludwig Ruff in 1920/21 in the style of neo-classicism and the Heimat style. It is a two-storey eaves saddle roof building with a bay window and structure in natural stone . At the back there is a wing with a hipped roof .
