Galíndez (noble family)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Galíndez house is the family of the first Counts of Aragón , which developed from the Spanish marrow of Charlemagne . The family died out in the fifth generation and left Aragón to the King of Navarre from the House of Jiménez .

The other lords and then kings of Aragón come first from the House of Jiménez and later from the House of Barcelona , i.e. not a family coming from Aragón itself.
