Hawi Feysa (born February 1, 1999 ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner .

Athletic career

Hawi Feysa gained her first international experience at the 2017 World Cross Country Championships in Kampala , where she secured the silver medal in the U20 age group in 18:57 minutes and won the gold medal with the team. In 2018 she took fourth place in the 5000 meter run at the African Championships in Asaba in 15: 59.23 min and at the 2019 World Cross Country Championships in Aarhus she was 17th in the adult class in 37:59 min the African Games in Rabat in 15: 33.93 min the silver medal over 5000 meters behind the Kenyan Lilian Kasait Rengeruk .

In 2018 Feysa became the Ethiopian champion in the 5000 meter run.
