Hazel Court (born February 10, 1926 in Sutton Coldfield , England , † April 15, 2008 in Alpine Meadows , California ) was a British film actress .

life and career

Hazel Court gained her first acting experience on the stages of her hometown until she got a small role in Champagne Charlie , a music film, in 1944 . Court was then signed by Gainsborough Film Studios and directed the drama Holiday Camp , directed by Ken Annakin .

In 1952, Hazel Court played her first leading role in a horror film alongside Dermot Walsh in Ghost Ship . After Counter Spy , in which she also stood in front of the camera with her future husband Dermot Walsh, the science fiction film Devil Girl from Mars followed in 1954 . In 1957, Court played the role of Elisabeth in Frankenstein's Curse by Terence Fisher .
