Heather Bratton

Heather Bratton (born June 25, 1987 in Tampa , Florida , † July 22, 2006 in New York City ) was an American model .

She graced the cover of Italian Vogue in February and May 2006. She also ran the catwalks in Milan, Paris and New York for the summer shows of Prada , Gucci , Burberry and Chanel . Bratton was also photographed for all fashion editorials, including the famous photographer Steven Meisel .

She was known for her dark brown eyes and hair, as well as her geometric cheekbones.

The 19-year-old was on her way to Newark Airport when she was involved in a three-car accident. Bratton was the only one killed when the taxi she was sitting in caught fire.

The September 2006 issue of Vogue Paris is dedicated to her.
