Heather Burns (born April 7, 1975 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actress .

Life

Heather Burns was born to a Chicago lawyer and considered pursuing a similar career path after graduating from high school. She was a member of The Second City group and had her first small film role in 99 Threadwaxin in 1998 . Since then, she has often played major supporting roles in movie comedies , such as em @ il für Dich (1998) or A Boss to Fall in Love with (2002), but she has also had engagements in television series such as Law & Order .

Best known may be her role as Miss Rhode Island or later Miss America in the film Miss Undercover , for which she was in front of the camera with Sandra Bullock in 2000 . The character embodied by her here and later is a stupid, naive but lovable young woman who often suffers from self-doubt and inferiority complexes . She also played the same role five years later in the sequel Miss Undercover 2 .

Heather Burns is engaged to Ajay Naidu , whom she has known since high school .
