Ajay Naidu

Ajay Kalahastri Naidu (born February 12, 1972 in Evanston , Illinois ) is an American actor .

Life

Naidu grew up as the son of Indian immigrants in Chicago . While in high school , he had his first role in 1985 in the pilot of the television series The Lady with the Colt . After graduating from school, he attended the Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University for two years .

Naidu worked mainly in the theater until the mid-1990s , including playing Romeo and Juliet and Jedermann in Chicago in Denver . For his first film role in eight years, he was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award in 1996 for his performance in Suburbia . As a result, he played in various film productions such as My Giant - Two on a Big Foot , Cradle of Fear and Pi . Between 1998 and 1999 he had a recurring role in the Al Franken - Sitcom LateLine and played the following year one of the main roles in the satire Office Space . Since the beginning of 2000 Naidu has worked in several successful feature film productions such as Hannibal , Scary Movie 3 and The Wrestler, as well as television series such as The Sopranos , Monk and The West Wing .

He is in a relationship with actress Heather Burns .
