Sam Kamin is an unsuccessful agent in Hollywood. His wife leaves him. Sam meets with a customer in Romania, where he has a car accident. His car falls into the water; Kamin wakes up in the monastery where he is receiving medical care.

Kamin meets Max Zamphirescu, who is over 2.30 m tall and who saved him after the accident. Sam lures him to Hollywood with promises. There Max gets a role in a movie with Steven Seagal.
