Reviews
Stephen Holden wrote in the New York Times on January 20, 2006 that the comedy was not funny, it was almost nothing ( "is not funny; it's hardly anything at all" ). The “cynical” and “incoherent” story lead to a “miserable” end; "Respected actors" would try in vain to keep them going. The film could be a pilot of the cheap replica of the television series Arrested Development .
VA Musetto wrote in the New York Post that the film contained too many characters and unbelievable sub-strands of the plot, none of which were worth mentioning. He collapses under his own weight.
The Rotten Tomatoes editors wrote that the drama was tending towards a black comedy. The representations are strong, including those by Piper Perabo, Mary Beth Hurt and Heather Burns. The film proves that a seditious character brings problems in any environment.
