The Heegbrückerbach is a 3 km long left or eastern tributary of the Wetter .

The Heegbrückerbach rises at an altitude of about 375 m above sea level. NHN in a wooded area southwest of St. Thomas Hill .
It flows in a westerly direction, its main direction of flow, which it maintains up to the mouth, in a narrow strip of green through woodland between the 338.7 m high Heinzberg in the north and the 296 m high Wallenberg in the south.
After crossing under the B 276 , the Heegbrückerbach runs parallel to this road until it finally comes east of Laubach at an altitude of about 235 m above sea level. NHN flows into the Wetter from the left.
Its 3.2 km long run ends 140 meters below its source, so it has an average bed gradient of 44 ‰.
Catchment area
The catchment area of the Heegbrückerbach lies in the eastern Hintertaunus and is drained to the North Sea via the Wetter , the Nidda , the Main and the Rhine .
It borders
- in the east to that of the Höllerskopfbach , a tributary of the Horloff
- in the south to that of the Horloff itself, which flows into the Nidda
- and in the north of the weather.
The highest point is the 418 m high Thomashügel in the east of the catchment area.
The catchment area of the Heegbrückerbach is almost completely forested.
