Heike Weber (born March 29, 1962 in Neustrelitz , born Heike Lehmann , formerly Heike Grund ) is a former German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Sports career hall

Heike Weber started with volleyball at her home club SG Dynamo Neustrelitz-Süd and has been playing volleyball at SC Dynamo Berlin since the late 1970s , with which she was GDR champion five times and the 1985 European Cup . With the GDR national team she won the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980 and was European champion in 1983 in her own country . After the reunification in the GDR she played in the first and second Bundesliga with Rudow Berlin , Bayern Lohhof , with 1. VC Hamburg , SC Langenhorn and most recently until 1998 with TV Fischbek .

With her teammates, she was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit in bronze in 1980 for winning the silver medal at the Olympic Games .

Heike Weber played in the sand from 1992 to 1997 mostly alongside Andrea Marunde .
