Heiko Maile

Heiko Michael Maile (born January 12, 1966 in Bankstown , Sydney district , Australia ) is a German film composer , music producer and musician.

Life

In 1983 Heiko Maile and friends founded the German band Camouflage , which had success in the late 1980s with titles such as The Great Commandment and Love Is A Shield . Maile also works as a composer for commercials and films. He wrote the score for the film Die Welle (director: Dennis Gansel ) and also contributed three songs to the soundtrack under his pseudonym Ronda Ray. For his compositions in the animated film Love & Theft by Andreas Hykade , he received the Music for Animation Award at the Stuttgart Animated Film Festival in 2010 . In 2011 he was nominated for the German Film Prize in the category of best film music for working again with Gansel on Wir sind die Nacht . In 2017 he received the German Television Award in the Best Music category for Winnetou - Der Mythos lives (RTL).

Heiko Maile lives and works in Stuttgart.
