Heilsberg is a district of Bad Vilbel in the Hessian Wetteraukreis and is located on the southern edge of the city on a hill on the southern city limits to Frankfurt am Main . Heilsberg is part of the district of the core town of Bad Vilbel.

history

The district emerged after the Second World War on a former military training area through the settlement of displaced people , bombed out and returnees .

In 1948 the settlement officially became a district and was given the name Heilsberg, which is derived on the one hand from the 'Heilsberg', on the other hand from Heilsberg in East Prussia ( Lidzbark Warmiński in Polish , now Poland ).
