Heimberg is a place and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Haag in the district of Amstetten in Lower Austria . The cadastral community reaches its highest point in the Markstein ( 420  m ). World icon

history

Heimberg was first mentioned in a document in 1264 as Haeimperge . The name is derived from "mountain, which is named after a man named Heimo".

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were 61 building areas on a total of 34,398 m² and 63 gardens on 259,542 m² in Heimberg, in 1989/1990 there were 60 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had fallen to 53 and in 2009/2010 there were 67 buildings on 99 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 2,805 hectares were used for agricultural purposes for the year 1979/1980 and 259 hectares were forested guided forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 3,057 hectares and 256 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 2943 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 277 hectares. Heimberg's average soil climate number is 46.6 (as of 2010).
