Porstenberg is a place and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Haag in the district of Amstetten in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 41 building areas with 20108 m² and 66 gardens on 190464 m² in the cadastral municipality of Porstenberg and also in 1989/1990 there were 41 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 55 and in 2009/2010 there were 73 buildings on 120 building areas.

Agriculture

The unpopulated areas of the cadastral community are characterized by agriculture. 233 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 33 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 250 hectares and 33 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 233 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 35 hectares. The average soil climate of Porstenberg is 46.7 (as of 2010).
