Krottendorf is a place and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Haag in the district of Amstetten in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 61 building areas with 30,384 m² and 81 gardens on 237,982 m² in the cadastral community of Krottendorf, in 1989/1990 there were 59 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 64 and in 2009/2010 there were 73 buildings on 106 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 270 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 177 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 289 hectares and 179 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 283 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 179 hectares. The average soil climate number of Krottendorf is 47.7 (as of 2010).
