Heiner Möller (politician)

Heiner Möller (born November 22, 1943 in Lübeck ; † August 5, 1998 there ) was a German business economist and politician ( CDU ).

Life

After attending elementary school and the upper secondary qualification at a grammar school in 1961, Möller first completed a commercial training course, which he completed with the assistant test. He then continued his education at the Academy for Marketing, where he graduated as a business economist. In 1964/65 he completed a visiting degree in marketing and management at the State University of Wisconsin . From 1966 to 1970 he worked as a marketing assistant and consultant to the company management at the mineral oil and liquefied gas sales of Ernst Boie KG in Lübeck . As a mineral oil merchant, he then became a consultant in the staff department for marketing and corporate planning.

Möller joined the Junge Union in 1963 and joined the CDU in 1967. He was a member of the German Bundestag after the Bundestag election from 1972 to 1976. He entered parliament via the Schleswig-Holstein state list and was the youngest member of the Bundestag at the time. During this legislative period he was a member of the budget committee of the Bundestag.

In 1976 Möller raised the flag on the Lange Anna on Heligoland in order to mobilize the public for the rescue of this symbol of Heligoland.

After his time as a member of the Bundestag, he worked for “Drägerwerke AG” in Lübeck. Heiner Möller died in Lübeck in 1998, leaving behind a son.
