Heinrich Becker (politician, 1872)

Heinrich Becker (born July 24, 1872 in Klein Wanzleben , † after 1928) was a German politician ( DVP ).

Life

The son of a miller attended elementary school and then completed an apprenticeship as a baker in Magdeburg , which he completed with a journeyman's examination. He spent his wandering years in Bremen , Düsseldorf , Bad Ems , Konstanz , Munich and Dresden . After his return he started his own business in Magdeburg in March 1896. In the meantime he had passed the master's examination. As head master of the bakers' guild, he was chairman of the master craftsman's examination commission and a member of the Magdeburg Chamber of Crafts . In addition, he acted as a legally sworn expert for the Magdeburg district court . In the 1920s he was also chairman of the Germania branch association of German bakers' guilds for the provinces of Saxony , Anhalt and Thuringia .

After the November Revolution, Becker joined the German People's Party (DVP). In February 1921 he was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged until 1928. In parliament he represented constituency 10 (Magdeburg).
