Life

Heinrich Christoph Naso came from the Thuringian aristocratic family Naso , which in the 17th century mostly refrained from using the designation "von". He was the son of Heinrich Christoph Naso auf Altengottern and Flarchheim and Anna born. von Heilingen from the house of Neunheilingen .

Naso took part in the Thirty Years' War and then embarked on an administrative career in the Electorate of Saxony . At the end of his life he owned manors in Altengottern , Flarchheim , Gleina and Obhausen (St. Johannis).

On June 29, 1645, he and his future wife Maria Catharina geb. von Osterhausen in Naumburg (Saale) signed a marriage contract. She was the daughter of Georg Bastian von Osterhausen in Kreipitzsch, Rudelsburg, Gleina and Gatterstädt , and was the inspector of the Pforta state school . His tombstone is in the Marienkirche in Freyburg.

In November 1662, Maria Catharina Naso loaned the manor owner Hans Friedrich von Heßler on Balgstädt 1000 thalers, which he needed for his sons' study trips. As a pledge she received his manor Balgstädt.
