Heinrich Fischer (politician, 1909)

Heinrich Fischer (born July 11, 1909 in Kiel , † April 26, 1983 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending primary school , Fischer, who was of Protestant faith, worked as a suitcase and sail maker. On the side he attended the adult education center and the academy of work . In 1924 he became a member of the youth union.

After 1945, Fischer worked as a party secretary.

Political party

In 1927 Fischer joined the Socialist Workers' Youth and the Reichsbanner Schwarz-Rot-Gold . In 1930 he also became a member of the SPD. From 1945 to 1953 he was a member of the board of the SPD Schleswig-Holstein , 1947/48 as its chairman.

MP

In 1946 Fischer was a member of the community in Einfeld for a short time , and from 1959 to 1965 he was a councilor in Itzehoe . He was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein Landtag from 1946 to 1950 and from 1954 to 1971 .

In the first appointed state parliament (April - November 1946) he was secretary and deputy chairman of the committee for the constitution and management. From 1958 to 1967 he was deputy chairman of the Interior Committee and since 1967 also of the Committee on Election Examination.

After he was appointed a member of parliament in 1946 and 1947, he moved into the state parliament as a directly elected member of the Segeberg-Nord constituency after the first state election in 1947 . In 1954 he was elected directly in the constituency of Steinburg-Süd and then always via the state list.

Honors

Fischer was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class on November 30, 1968 .
