Heinrich Bona Hauser (born July 14, 1891 in Berg am Laim ; † December 18, 1956 in Munich ) was a German character actor , on stage and in films mostly in rural, down-to-earth roles.

Life

After graduating from high school, the son of a senior post office clerk had completed a commercial apprenticeship at his father's request and also underwent vocal training in Munich. Hauser's first engagement took place in 1909 at the New Munich Theater in the Bavarian capital. Later he also played on stages in Regensburg , Würzburg , Frankfurt am Main and Berlin .

The Bavarian did not find regular employment in front of the camera until late. He made his sound film debut with a task typical of his role: In the rural folk play The Mill in the Black Forest , he embodied the flax farmer. Rural and simple characters such as in Der Schimmelkrieg in der Holledau , I ask for power of attorney , The chaste sinner and in The heiress from the Rosenhof remained his specialty. Hauser also played a head of office ( Why are you lying, Elisabeth? ), A bookseller ( Der Hochtourist ), a servant ( Peterle ), a goldsmith ( The Eternal Spring ) and a tailor ( The poor millionaire ). He was often Joe Stöckel's film partner .

Even after the war, Heinrich Hauser remained associated with white and blue, Alpine fabrics and stood in front of the camera until immediately before his death. He also took part in the 1955 film adaptation of the one-act first class by Ludwig Thoma alongside Wastl Witt in the role of the conductor. He made a regular appearance on the radio, for which he had worked for a good 30 years, in the Munich series ' Die Weißblaue Drehorgel ' . According to an obituary, he died "suddenly of a heart attack".
