Heinrich II. Von Oldenburg († 1197 at Caesarea ) was Count von Wildeshausen from 1167 . His parents were Heinrich I von Oldenburg , the founder of the Wildeshausen line of the Oldenburg Count House and Salome von Geldern-Zütphen, the daughter of Count Gerhard II.

In 1167, Heinrich II succeeded his father in the government. He submitted to Heinrich the Lion and became ducal administrator for the expelled cousins ​​in Oldenburg and Vogt of the Rastede family monastery .

Heinrich feuded Frisians and neighbors and, together with his wife's brothers, took part in the army of Emperor Friedrich Barbarossa in the Third Crusade , from which he returned in 1192. From 1197 he accompanied Hartwig II of Bremen on Heinrich VI's crusade. who in turn led him to the Holy Land . On this crusade he died in 1197 near Caesarea Maritima .
