Heinrich Ludwig von Gotter

Heinrich Ludwig von Gotter (* in Thuringia ; † 1782 ) was a Prussian lieutenant colonel and chief of garrison battalion No. 4 .

Life

Gotter joined the Prussian Army in 1741 and came on April 30, 1741 as a second lieutenant in the newly established fusilier regiment "Margrave Heinrich" . On September 25, 1747 he was first lieutenant , in March 1758 staff captain and on April 4, 1750 captain . In September 1766 he became major and on June 23, 1775 lieutenant colonel. As such, he received the "Puttkamer" garrison regiment in Aken in September 1775 .

He had taken part in all of Frederick II's campaigns when he died in 1782. His widow received a pension and died in Frankenstein after 1786 .
