Heinrich Müller , known as Heiri Müller (born May 3, 1946 ), is a Swiss journalist and musician .

Life

Müller grew up as the son of a pastor in Reiden and Rheinfelden . After an era marked by music youth he studied in Basel and Tübingen Law and a doctorate . He first worked as a journalist and photographer, then as a lecturer in constitutional law at Maiduguri University in Nigeria , where he also met his future wife, the US Nigerian Ruth Balami.

From 1981 to 2007 Müller worked for Swiss television as a presenter and editor of the Tagesschau . He presented his last daily news on June 15, 2007 at 7.30 p.m. on SF 1 . In an interview he announced that he would devote himself more to music in the future. He had already accepted for various appearances.

Since 2002 he has been writing songs that he has published on several albums: Footsteps was released in 2004 , which he recorded in Nashville , followed in 2006 by Chain Of Pearls, which was recorded in Winterthur and entered the charts at number 42, and Heinrich Müller was released in 2009 . In February 2011 he released his first video clip for the song "Hardbridge" .

In September 2012 his fourth album, On Fire, with interpretations of Bruce Springsteen songs was released.
