Heinrich Robolski (born August 18, 1858 in Stettin ; † 1939 ) was a German lawyer. Most recently he was President of the Imperial Patent Office .

Life

Robolski studied law at the Friedrichs University in Halle . In 1877 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Halle with Gustav Behrendt , in which he distinguished himself as consenior and twice as senior . On October 15, 1880 he became a trainee lawyer. He performed his preparatory service in the higher regional court district of Naumburg . In 1885 he was appointed court assessor and later employed as a laborer at the patent office and from 1890 as a temporary laborer in the Reich Office of the Interior . In November 1891 he became a councilor and member of the patent office, in April 1897 he became a secret councilor and deputy to the president, and in 1899 director of the patent office. In October 1903 he changed as the successor to the Privy Councilor Hauß, who in turn headed the Imperial Patent Office, as a lecturer in the Reich Office of the Interior, where he headed the department for patents and utility models and the protection of intellectual property. In part-time he was a member of the standard calibration committee. In December 1905 he became a go. Appointed Upper Government Council. In 1912 he succeeded Hauss as President of the Reich Patent Office.

Robolski was considered an excellent expert on patents and wrote several books in the field of copyright, patent law and utility model protection law .
