Heinrich Schoppen

Heinrich Rudolf Paul Karl Schoppen (born August 21, 1860 in Anklam ; † 1933 ) was a German local politician.

Life

Heinrich Schoppen studied at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin and the Royal University of Greifswald . In 1881 he became a member of the Corps Normannia Berlin . In 1882 he joined the Corps Borussia Greifswald . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. In 1905 he became the first mayor of Gniezno . During the First World War , he served as Lord Mayor in 1915-1917 in Łódź , which was occupied by the German army . After the First World War he was mayor of Marlow, now a district of Sagard on Rügen .
