Heinrich Schweickhardt (born August 18, 1862 in Tübingen ; † December 13, 1919 there ) was a businessman and member of the German Reichstag ( DtVP) .

Life

Schweickhardt attended grammar school and secondary school in Tübingen from 1870 to 1878 . By 1881 he completed a commercial apprenticeship in Bremen , from 1882 to 1884 he was in London and then until 1886 in Le Havre . Since 1887 he was a partner in the Schweickhardt Brothers Essigfabrik, brandy distillery in Tübingen. In 1881/82 he served as a one-year volunteer and then he was a lieutenant in the Landwehr. From 1900 he was a member of the Reutlingen Chamber of Commerce and the municipal council in Tübingen.

From 1903 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Württemberg 7 ( Nagold , Calw , Neuenbürg , Herrenberg ). In 1919 he was a member of the Württemberg Landtag for the DDP for a short time until his death .
