Heinrich von Burghausen (* 1304 ; † July 13, 1337 ) was named Heinrich III. Bishop of Seckau .

Heinrich von Burghausen came from the rich family of the ducal Bavarian Mautner von Burghausen and studied in Bologna in 1322, in 1329 he received his doctorate in canon law (doctor decretorum) . In 1332 he became procurator of the German nation, from 1325 to 1332 canon in Altötting and owner of a canonical office in Freising , from 1329 canon in Passau . In 1330 he became pastor of Dietfurt and St. Jakob in Burghausen, in the same year Pope Johannes XXII appointed him . to the provost of Freising. In 1331 he received the higher orders.

In 1334 he was appointed Bishop of Seckau by the Archbishop of Salzburg, Friedrich von Leibnitz , with whom he was on friendly terms. Little is known about his three-year reign. A benefice was established on the Frauenberg near Leibnitz , over which he had the patronage. He died in 1337 and was buried in Seckau Cathedral.
