This discography is an overview of the musical works of the Dutch pop singer Heintje and his pseudonyms such as Heintje Simons and Hein Simons . According to the sources, he has sold more than 40 million records in his career, including over 5.35 million in Germany, which makes him one of the performers with the highest number of record sales in the country .
Heintje's most successful release is the German-language debut album Heintje with around 3.6 million units sold. The album sold over 1.25 million times in Germany alone and, like the million-seller Christmas with Heintje, is one of the best-selling music albums in Germany . Christmas with Heintje was at that time the most commercially successful Christmas album later, only eleven years, in 1979, was Andrea Jürgens with Christmas with Andrea Jürgens again the million mark exceeded with a Christmas album.
In addition, the singles Du shall not cry , Heidschi Bumbeidschi and Mama also became million sellers in Germany, making them not only among the best-selling German-language hits , but also generally among the country's best-selling singles . Heintje ranks second with three million seller singles , only Freddy Quinn was able to cross the million mark with six singles.
