Heinz Kördell (born January 8, 1932 in Wanne-Eickel ; † October 2, 2020 ), also called "Heiner", was a German football player . He was German champion with FC Schalke 04 in 1958 .
Career
societies
Kördell, son of a miner , was considered a real " squire ". He started playing football at SpVgg Röhlinghausen and was promoted to the first team of the sports club from the Herne district in 1950 .
In 1956 he was signed by the upper division FC Schalke 04 . Two years later he won the West German championship as an attacking midfielder (at the time called a half-striker ) and on May 18, 1958, the club's last German championship. Once by Ernst Kuzorra discovered changed Kördell after six seasons in which he had scored 19 goals in 103 league games, 1962.
