Heinz Rothmund

Heinz Rothmund (born October 10, 1928 in Erfurt ; † September 10, 2009 there ) was a German racing cyclist .

Career

In 1950, Heinz Rothmund was the winner of the GDR championship in track cycling in the sprint on the Erfurt Andreasried cycling track . He started for the BSG Lok Erfurt association . Later he was a cycling coach.

Together with his brother Willi, Rothmund was one of the public favorites on the Erfurt Railway.
