Heinz Schudnagies

Heinz Schudnagies (* 1925 in Berlin ; † 1997 in Provence, France ) was a German architect .

Schudnagies studied architecture at the Technical University of Berlin from 1946 and worked as a freelance architect in Berlin from 1956 .

Heinz Schudnagies created many residential buildings, primarily in Berlin, in which he took up the ideas of Hugo Häring and Hans Scharoun . The houses are characterized by very free floor plans and polygonality . One can count his buildings to organic architecture .
