The Helbigsdorfer Bach is a 6.7 km long left tributary of the Zethaubach in the Saxon Ore Mountains .

The stream rises from a small pond about 3 km south of Helbigsdorf . It first runs north-east and after about 800 m it crosses at an altitude of 501.2  m above sea level. NHN the Zethauer Kunstgraben , which flows superficially here. The artificial ditch, which is later dammed by the Lower Großhartmannsdorfer Pond , is part of the lower water supply of the Freiberg Revierwasserlaufanstalt and continuously supplies the Freiberg area with process water. Later the Helbigsdorfer Bach turns north, then bends to the east and flows through the forest hoof village of Helbigsdorf, whose houses are lined up on the brook. Finally it flows into the Zethaubach, which about 400 m later in Mulda / Sa. flows into the Freiberg Mulde .
