Helene Richter (painter)
Helene Richter (born November 14, 1834 in Mainz , † May 10, 1913 in Rome ) was a German genre painter .
Life
Richter lived in Düsseldorf , Berlin and Rome . In Düsseldorf she was a private student of the genre and portrait painter Franz Thöne . In Rome, where she lived until the end of her life, she associated with the German- Roman milieu , for example with the painter and photographer Emma Planck (1837–1923) and the writer Richard Voss . She exhibited her works between 1870 and 1890 at the academic art exhibitions in Berlin and Dresden . Her grave is on the Cimitero acatolico .
