Helge Palmcrantz
Carl Julius Helge Palmcrantz (born July 7, 1842 in Hammerdal , † November 22, 1880 in Stockholm ) was a Swedish inventor , weapons technician and entrepreneur .
Life
Together with his stepbrother Theodor Winbor, he founded a company in Kungsholmen , Stockholm . He studied at the Royal Technical University . In 1873 he succeeded in inventing the Nordenfelt mitrailleuse , which was named after his financial sponsor Thorsten Nordenfelt .
