Helmut Schwartz

Helmut Schwartz (born February 10, 1937 in Merkstein ; † May 6, 2007 in Kalterherberg ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

In 1954 he began a commercial apprenticeship, which he completed in 1956 with the commercial apprenticeship examination. He then worked for the Vegla company .

From 1964 to 1989 he was a member of the district council of Aachen . From 1975 to 1984 Schwartz was District Administrator , from 1984 to 1989 he was 1st Deputy District Administrator. He was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from 1970 to 1985.

In the Düren district , Helmut Schwartz was full-time managing director of the CDU district association from 1985 to 2001. Most recently, he was district and district chairman of the Seniors' Union , as well as deputy state chairman of this 40,000-member organization.

On November 6, 1986 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class.

Helmut Schwartz was married and had four children.
