Helmuth Schulze-Fielitz
Helmuth Schulze-Fielitz (born March 1, 1947 in Goslar ) is a German professor of public law, environmental law and administrative sciences.
Life
Helmuth Schulze-Fielitz studied law and social sciences from 1966 to 1977 in Göttingen , Frankfurt and Marburg , and received his doctorate in law in Augsburg . In 1986 he completed his habilitation for public law in Bayreuth .
After various professorships, Schulze-Fielitz worked from 1989 as a professor at the Faculty of Economics and Organizational Sciences at the University of the Bundeswehr in Munich . In the winter semester 1994/95 he took over the chair for public law , environmental law and administrative sciences at the law faculty of the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg . He has been retired since April 2012. In the academic year 2003/2004 he was a fellow at the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin . In the context of academic self-administration, he held the office of dean from 1999 to 2001 and from 2001 to 2003 dean of the law faculty.
He is a member of the Association of German Constitutional Law Teachers. V. After he had already held the office of deputy chairman from 2002 to 2003, he was elected chairman for the years 2008 and 2009 at the 2007 general meeting. Schulze-Fielitz has been Chairman of the Board of Trustees since the Foundation for Environmental Energy Law was established on March 1, 2011. In 2018 Schulze-Fielitz received the “Bene Merenti” Gold Medal of Merit from the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg for, among other things, “his outstanding commitment to promoting Würzburg as a location for science”.
Schulze-Fielitz is married and has three children.
