Henri Adrien Tanoux
Henri Adrien Tanoux (born October 18, 1865 in Marseille , † April 8, 1923 in Paris ) was a French painter. He devoted himself to landscapes, female nudes and oriental scenes.
Tanoux began his studies in 1878 at the École des Beaux-Arts in Marseille. In 1886 he moved to the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where he was a student of Léon Bonnat . As early as 1886 he exhibited his work Judith shows the head of Holofernes to the Jewish people at the Salon de Paris and was then regularly represented there. In 1889 he was awarded praise at the World Exhibition in Paris . He was elected a member of the Société des Artistes Français in 1905 .
His works are well represented in the art trade.
