Life

Henriette Gödde was trained as a school musician at the Berlin University of the Arts . In 2010 she began studying singing at the Carl Maria von Weber Academy of Music in Dresden , where she was tutored by Christiane Junghanns . After completing her diploma, she studied song and concert in a master class with Olaf Bär as well as other master classes with Gerhild Romberger , Ingeborg Danz , Christa Ludwig , Gerold Huber and Helmut Deutsch . Artistic information

During her studies she already gained opera and concert experience. B. in her operatic debut as Countess in Lortzing's Der Wildschütz 2011, at a matinee with Mozart's Coronation Mass in the Semperoper in Dresden and at the performance of Frank Martin's In terra pax and Wagner's Wesendonck-Lieder in the version by Hans Werner Henze . Prize winner of the International Robert Schumann Competition

In 2016 Henriette Gödde won first prize for female singers at the 17th International Robert Schumann Competition in Zwickau in front of Hiltrud Kuhlmann and Hagar Sharvit . This competition, founded in 1956, is open to singers up to 30 years of age and pianists up to 32 years of age. The winners are determined in two selection rounds and a final round, in which given works by Robert and Clara Schumann , Johannes Brahms , Hugo Wolf or Gustav Mahler are to be performed by heart in front of an international jury. The lectures of the second round and the final last 25 to 30 minutes. After the 2016 competition ended, the winners gave a concert on June 19 in the “Neue Welt” concert hall and ballroom in Zwickau. 258 artists registered for the competition in 2016, of which 74 pianists and 89 singers could take part.
