Henrik Roger Larsson (born September 30, 1999 ) is a Swedish athlete who specializes in sprinting .

Athletic career

Henrik Larsson gained his first international experience in 2015, when he won the gold medal in the 100-meter run at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Tbilisi in 10.72 seconds . In the following year he won the silver medal over 100 meters in 10.57 seconds at the European Youth Championships held there for the first time and finished fourth in the 200-meter run in 21.30 seconds. In 2017 he reached the semi-finals at the U20 European Championships in Grosseto over 200 meters and was eliminated there with 21.44 s, while he finished sixth over 100 meters in 10.98 s. He also finished sixth over 100 meters in 10.28 s at the U20 World Athletics Championships in Tampere in 2018 and did not start over 200 meters in the final. In the 100-meter run, he then took part in the European Championships in Berlin , but retired there with 10.62 s in the first round. The following year he took part in the 60-meter run at the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow , where he reached the semifinals, in which he was eliminated with 6.69 s. He then won the U23 European Championships in Gävle in 10.23 s over 100 meters and reached the semi-finals over 200 meters, in which he did not start.

In 2018 and 2019 , Larsson was the Swedish champion in the 100-meter run and in 2017 and 2019 over 200 meters. In addition, he became indoor champion in the 60-meter run in 2019.
