Henrique Müller

Henrique Müller OFM (born August 22, 1922 in Peritiba , Santa Catarina , Brazil ; † May 26, 2000 ) was a Brazilian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Joaçaba .

Life

Henrique Müller joined the Congregation of the Franciscan at and received on 16 July 1949, the priestly ordination .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on June 27, 1975 as the first bishop of the two weeks earlier established Diocese of Joaçaba . The Apostolic Nuncio in Brazil, Archbishop Carmine Rocco , donated him episcopal ordination on September 14th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Alfonso Niehues , Archbishop of Florianópolis , and Honorato Piazera SCI , Bishop of Lages .

On March 17, 1999, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
