Henry Aruna

Henry Aruna (born August 2, 1964 in Yemandu , Kenema District , Sierra Leone ) is a Sierra Leonean clergyman and appointed Roman Catholic Bishop of Kenema .

Life

Henry Aruna received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Kenema on April 16, 1993 .

On January 7, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Makeni . The Assistant Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Archbishop of the Curia Protase Rugambwa , donated him episcopal ordination on January 5, 2013 ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Madras-Mylapore , George Antonysamy , and the Bishop of Kenema, Patrick Daniel Koroma .

Pope Francis released him on July 18, 2015 from the leadership of the diocese of Makeni and appointed him auxiliary bishop in Kenema and titular bishop of Nasbinca . On January 26, 2019, Francis appointed him Bishop of Kenema.
