Grabinski predominantly painted landscapes in romantic transfiguration. His pictures were realistic with an impressionistic influence, as can also be found in Kazimierz Alchimowicz , Adam Chmielowski and Witold Pruszkowski .

His landscapes show a variety of motifs: ponds, streams, waterfalls, farms, views of villages and churches, caves or castle ruins. Often sunrises or sunsets are included, sometimes storms and thunderstorms. His pictures are characterized by a realistic impression, rich colors and the emphasis on lighting effects. He mainly painted in oil and watercolor , using pen and ink as an aid. Grabiński wrote a textbook on landscape painting (Lemberg, 1884) and published an album with paintings on Galicia and the southern provinces of Poland.
